Matt is a musculoskeletal (MSK) sonographer and independent prescriber, as well as Clinic Director at Flex Physiotherapy.
He has worked as an extended scope physiotherapist since 2005. He completed an MSc in MSK Physiotherapy at Kings College, London); a Postgraduate Diploma in Clinical Management of Pain at Edinburgh University; and a CASE accredited Posgraduate Certificate in MSK Sonography at the University of East London. Matt continues to work within both NHS and private clinics throughout Sussex. He has developed a new ultrasound service for Sussex MSK Partnership and continues to run regular ultrasound guided injection clinics.
SMUG has recently partnered with the UCO on a new diagnostic ultrasound teaching clinic, providing students with the opportunity to develop their ultrasound skills under tuition from experts in the field, and UCO Clinic patients with the opportunity to access musculoskeletal ultrasound services at affordable prices.
