Danny Miller

Osteopathy and Health Psychology (M.Ost and DHealthPsyche)

Danny Miller is a dual-qualified Osteopath and Health Psychologist, holding an M.Ost and DHealthPsyche. After an earlier career outside healthcare, he developed a strong interest in communication, behaviour change, and how people understand pain and recovery. Alongside private clinical practice, he has experience in teaching and research, with a focus on persistent pain and patient experience. He also works as a Practice Educator, supporting students in developing confident, reflective, and evidence-informed clinical practice.

His main clinical interest is persistent musculoskeletal pain and pain-related distress, particularly when symptoms are long-standing, complex, or uncertain. He is interested in how reassurance, clear communication, and understanding a person’s experience can support recovery, alongside hands-on treatment and behavioural approaches.

Danny commonly works with people experiencing ongoing or recurrent back, neck, and joint pain, often alongside stress or uncertainty about movement and activity. He supports a wide range of patients, many of whom feel unsure about what is safe or helpful for their symptoms.

His approach is calm and collaborative, focusing on listening, clear explanation, and helping people make sense of their condition. Treatment combines hands-on care with discussion around movement and confidence, aiming to support a gradual return to everyday activities in a way that feels manageable and safe.
