Osteopath and Lecturer (M.Ost)
Chiara is an osteopath and lecturer with a strong focus on supporting women and children through key stages of health and development. Alongside her role in clinical education, she is a member of the Institute of Osteopathy and has undertaken advanced postgraduate training in paediatric osteopathy and academic and clinical education at the University College of Osteopathy, as well as further specialist study in women’s health.
Her clinical work centres on women’s health and paediatrics, helping patients manage a wide range of musculoskeletal and developmental concerns. She supports women through pregnancy with issues such as back, pelvic and joint pain, prepares the body for labour, and provides postnatal care including recovery from birth and surgery. She also works with patients experiencing pelvic floor dysfunction, chronic pelvic pain, hormonal and menstrual-related discomfort, and the physical changes associated with menopause. In paediatrics, she works with babies and children presenting with birth-related strains, feeding or sleep difficulties, unsettled behaviour, reflux-related discomfort, torticollis, positional plagiocephaly, and developmental concerns.
Patients can expect a thorough, individualised assessment and a treatment plan tailored to their specific needs, grounded in evidence-informed osteopathic care. Chiara’s approach is calm, attentive, and patient-centred, with a focus on helping patients and families feel understood and supported. As a Practice Educator, she provides close clinical supervision, ensuring that each patient benefits from both her specialist expertise and a collaborative approach to care that prioritises safety, effectiveness, and long-term wellbeing.
