Yasmin Jones – Assistant Practice Educator
Yasmin graduated from the British College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2017, receiving the naturopathy award for her graduating year. She then attended University of Edinburgh for MSc Philosophy, choosing neonatal bioethics as the subject of her dissertation. Yasmin has a special interest in treating babies, children and pre /postnatal individuals, and has a Diploma in Paediatric Osteopathy via the Osteopathic Centre for Children. Following completion of this diploma, she continued at the clinic by volunteering as an osteopath/working as a clinic tutor.
Yasmin chose osteopathy because of the principles behind it, particularly: the body is self-healing by nature. She feels that tailoring treatment and advice to an individual is an art that one can always improve; the principles of osteopathy coupled with this are what make the profession special to her. Yasmin largely works using cranial and structural techniques, and in her spare time enjoys classical Pilates, yoga and snowboarding.
