Danny Miller, Senior Practice Educator and Clinic Tutor
As of March 2022, Danny has been appointed to the temporary SPE role on a Friday and will continue as a Practice Educator on a Monday.
Danny undertook a career change from sales and trading in the city to osteopathy. He qualified in 2016 from the University College of Osteopathy (UCO) in London and currently works in private practice in Wandsworth Common.
In 2017 he commenced training to be a health psychologist and completed a MSc in Psychology and a MSc in Health Psychology, both at the University of Westminster. He is currently enrolled on the part-time Professional Doctorate in Health Psychology at the University of West of England, which he aims to complete in November 2022. Danny’s doctoral research project involves an exploration of how individuals can live well with pain, and how an osteopath can be involved with fostering the process of living well. Through his further education, he can draw on a variety of health psychology theory to support behaviour change and patient-centred care.
Alongside a busy family life as a father of two, Danny is a sports enthusiast with his main passion being rugby. In addition, through his various studies he has also developed an interest in how addicts recover and live a meaningful life.
