Emma Hall

Emma Hall, UCO Associate

Clinic availability: Wednesdays

Emma graduated from the University College of Osteopathy in June 2019. She loved her time studying at the UCO and, although it has been difficult and stressful at times, these years have been some of the best times of her life and 100% worth to become an osteopath. Before studying osteopathy, Emma always worked in a career that involved the care of others. Her first ever job was a lifeguard, she then progressed onto a fitness coach and then a swimming coach before deciding that osteopathy was the career path she wanted to follow. Emma used to swim competitively when she was younger which led her into this field of work due to seeing an osteopath regularly for treatments and seeing the wonders it could do.

Emma knew her true calling was working with people and helping them as best she could when she first worked as a fitness coach. This involved working with people in groups and 1-2-1, helping to set and achieve health and fitness goals. This was a very rewarding job for her as she was always able to visualize the goals with people and watch them unfold over weeks or months. She still teaches swimming, which has been a passion of hers from a young age, working with all ages from babies to the elderly, teaching the first ever swimming skills or training people for events such as triathlons.

Emma is interested in treating all types of patients with the intention to treat each patient for their individual needs. She aims to decrease pain for patients, remove barriers in the way of their health, and to educate patients on ways to decrease the chances of reoccurrence of pain. Emma is also qualified in sports taping and she uses this alongside osteopathy when appropriate to aid patients’ recovery between treatments.

Osteopathy has been a path that has assisted Emma in her passion to help the people around her, and she hopes to continue to do this for the rest of her life while supporting, helping and inspiring people to achieve their goals and to live with a healthy, happy body and mind.
