Sara Castoldi, UCO Associate
Available on Tuesdays and Thursdays evening and Saturdays morning.
Sara completed her Masters in Osteopathy at the Istituto Superiore di Osteopatia (ISO) in Milan graduating with Distinction. She has since moved to London in order to gain high-level working experience in the UK and attend a Postgraduate Course in Specialist Paediatric Osteopathic Practice. Therefore, besides regular osteopathic practice, she has advanced skills in the care and treatment of babies, children and pregnant women.
Sara values the impact of lifestyle on health and is a keen advocate of proper diet and physical activity. Her treatments include structural, visceral, fascial and cranial techniques, as well as exercises prescription. During her training, she has developed a particular interest in the biopsychosocial approach, which considers the complex interaction of biological, psychological and social factors in understanding the development of the symptoms in order to design personalised coping strategies.
Next year Sara is planning to attend a Postgraduate Course in Academic and Clinical Education at UCO because she strongly believes in the importance of a proper training and would like to share the passion for her job with students and colleagues.
Sara is registered with General Osteopathic Council (10412) and a member of the Institute of Osteopathy.
